About Me

My photo
I have been a crafter of all sorts for many years, and really love working with Paper and Threads. I am loving the design work I am doing now. I really seem to be getting back into my "art", even if I am doing it by computer now, instead of actually getting dirty while drawing. ;-) I have been avid about Thread Arts since I was a kid, learning to Crochet at 7, then Knit, Embroider, Needle Lace and finally Needle Tat. I love to design as well and am looking forward to taking the Needle Tatting that further step as well.

Bookmark Exchange

Over on InTatters we had a Spring Bookmark Exchange.  I made a really cool bookmark using Red & White Rickrack that has been wound together to look like a Candy Stick.  The pattern is called Tatted Rickrack Candy Stick Bookmark.  (the pattern used to be on Freepatterns.com but is no longer there)

Edited to add: I have had several requests for the name of the designer of this bookmark.  It isCharlene G Finiello.

I received a gorgeous bookmark from Louine along with a beautiful Rose Brooch.

  1. Congratulations on the arrival of your bookmark and broach from Louine. I love exchanges because I keep and enjoy every item I get. My own tatting usually winds up in someone else's hands. LOL

I love the rickrack idea in the Candy Cane Bookmark. Do you remember who the designer is? You did a great job on it.

  2. Beautiful rickrack design, not seen this design before, I also want to ask the same question as to who the designer is?

I enjoyed the exchange too although I have not received mine yet it was nice to see everyones different designs.

  3. If the pattern for the bookmark was on freepatterns.com but is no longer there, would you be willing to share the pattern?
